What's the difference between your lasers and everyone else's in town?
The main difference between The Cynosure Elite IQ and IPL (Intense Pulse Light) devices are: IPL machines are not a strong laser as they do not use condensed laser lights. This means that the light used cannot be adjusted to treat various skin or hair types.

The Cynosure Elite 1Q is a dual platform medical grade laser. A modern design for fast, safe and effective treatments. This technology combines two optimal laser wavelengths in one system: the 755m Alexandrite laser and the 1064nm ND:YAG laser. The Alexandrite wavelength has high melanin absorption characteristics and proven long term results which make it a wavelength for excellent hair reduction, permanently reducing hair by an average of 80% after just three treatments. The high powered Nd: YAG is the safest and most effective wavelength for darker skin types. The wavelength can also be switched during a single procedure allowing for the use of the most appropriate laser for any given hair or skin type. The Cynosure Elite IQ is safe for all skin types

How many treatments do I need?
Laser treatment packages at Hush are on a customer by customer basis. The amount of treatment depends on the hair length, thickness, and amount. Most clients start to see a difference after a few visits.

How much does it cost?
All laser pricing is per treatment (plus HST). We suggest at least 6 treatments every 4-6 weeks depending on the area treated. There’s no guarantee on how many treatments you will need because everybody is different.

How much hair growth do I need before a treatment?
It is best to have 3-4 weeks of hair growth before a treatment. Hair grows in three stages and each stage takes a week. It is a good idea to add an extra week to ensure the most hair is there for removal.
